 Oval shopping basket – Friday 10th May AND Saturday 11th May – 9.30-5 ish. £200
 
This two day course will guide you through the process of making an oval shopping basket with a wrapped rod handle. We will make a French base or underfoot base, using pairing and reverse pairing, then staking up and weaving the sides in various weaves. More advanced makers can choose more challenging weaves and shapes. We will then add a handle and wrap the handle with slim willow. Suitable for progressive makers with some experience of making round stake and strand baskets.

You will be using home grown, colourful willows from my willow bed and some Somerset willow.
I will provide drinks and nice biscuits for the course duration. Let me know if you have any dietary restrictions such as dairy or gluten free. You will also need to bring some lunch and any other food you may want as well as your own mug.
You will need to pay the full amount now (unless you have a voucher), this will secure your place. I will send you an invoice. 
You can move your booking to a different course up to 4 weeks before the course date. If you cancel your course less than 7 days before the course date I am afraid I cannot return your money, unless I can fill your place.
