Rachel can deliver workshops of a few hours , half days or full days to community groups such as youth groups, WI groups, family learning sessions, wildlife groups and intergenerational work.

Groups can make simple willow items to take home or longer projects making larger sculptures to display indoors and outdoors. Other environmental art or craft projects are on offer using natural materials such as simple coracle making, festive wreaths and outdoor clay/mud sculptures.

Examples of projects

Half day: making simple flat baskets, wreaths, snails or fish, plant supports for sweet peas etc, stars, insects, lanterns.

Full day: large sculptures, people, insects, animals or sculptural work . Make a simple round basket from willow and other wild materials gathered from Staffordshire, make a coracle out of willow and try it out! Large willow flowers.

Several days: large willow animals/people in dry willow or living willow (see Living Willow). Willow domes, screens or storytelling areas.

Costs £90 half day, £175 per day plus materials.
