Rachel Evans is a basket maker and a willow artist based in Oakamoor, Staffordshire. She set up her business Wheatcroftwillow in April 2008.

She can;

• Work to commission to make bespoke baskets, sculpture or deliver large willow projects.

• Deliver courses in willow crafts.

•  Deliver workshops in willow arts and crafts and environmental arts to community groups and school groups.

• Design and construct large living willow structures working alone or with community groups or schools.

Rachel is based in Staffordshire, but will travel to surrounding counties, Derbyshire, Cheshire, Warwickshire.  The materials she uses are sourced from Staffordshire whenever possible and always from the UK.

Rachel Evans has over 15 years experience of working with community groups, schools and youth groups in the outdoors and on environmental issues. She is fully CRB checked, holds a First Aid Work certificate, conducts risk assessments for all activities and is insured for public liability up to £5 million.
